When Jesus was in prison, the Gaylord Christian Church decided to embrace him

It’s a sad day for gay Christians everywhere, as the Gaylords’ Faith Church has decided to celebrate Jesus’ birthday in 2018.

In a post on their Facebook page, the church states that “Jesus was in jail in prison” for “hating the homosexuals” and that the church would celebrate his birthday with “celebrating all that Jesus did for us.”

The post also included a photo of Jesus and his family with the caption, “We are thankful for the people of the Bible who loved him, and supported us with their love.

God loves all.”

The gay-friendly church, which boasts over 100 congregants, has been in the news recently, after it was revealed that the denomination’s president, Mark Dolan, had been arrested on federal drug charges and that his wife had had a child out of wedlock.

The LGBT-inclusive faith has also been involved in a number of high-profile controversies in recent years, including a campaign to bar the Catholic church from using the word “marriage” on its website and a campaign that targeted a lesbian couple’s wedding cake in Colorado.
